Dr. Laurie White
Dr. White graduated from The University of Houston, College of Optometry in 1983. Her undergraduate degree is from Emporia State, a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Within the field of optometry, Dr. White's talents include vision therapy, therapeutics, and a bilingual specialization. She is married to Steve Stephens and has four children, Emily, Elizabeth, Erin M., and Erin N. She is active in Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) and has participated in ten international mission trips in Central and South America to bring eye care to under-served areas. She is active at The United Methodist Church, was on the founding committee for Community Recycling Environmental Waste (CREW) in Dodge City and enjoys living a healthy, balanced life.
Terie Jo started working for Great Plains Vision in January 2014. She was born and raised in Dodge City. She comes from a large family of seven kids who live in or close to Dodge City. She is married with two children and enjoys getting together with her parents and siblings as much as possible. In her free time, she likes to cheer on her son with his sports (once a Demon, always a Demon) and visit her daughter who is attending Kansas State University (Go Wildcats)! She also enjoys scrapbooking when she can find the time.
Cindy recently joined the staff of Great Plains Vision LLC in May 2017. She graduated from Fort Hays State University with BS degree in General Science and AS in Radiology Technology. She and her husband, Steve, farm and ranch in the the Spearville area. Cindy enjoys gardening, but most of all cherishes time spent with her grand children and family. Certified in Dry Eye Therapy
Sergio recently started working at Great Plains Vision, LLC since February 2017. He is currently going to DCCC to earn his Associates of Science. Sergio was born and raised in Dodge City, Ks. He plans to attend optometry school and become an optometrist. He enjoys hiking and helping other people.
Denise was born and raised in Dodge City. She graduated from DCCC with an Associates of Arts degree and then transferred to Kansas State University. She has been working at Great Plains Vision since 2011 and is currently working as an optician and a scribe. Denise is a Certified Para-Optometric Assistant Level II and is currently working on becoming a Certified Para-Optometric Technician Level III. In her free time, Denise enjoys going on walks with her two children and spending as much time outdoors as she can. Certified in Dry Eye Therapy
